St Mildred’s Bay has a sandy beach with cliffs and a tidal pool. The bay has huts from Easter to September. The bay is surrounded by a concrete sea wall with railing that is wider in some parts as it follows the cliff formation around the bay.
This beach has plenty of sand for building castles and exploring rock pools. When the tide is out, the water is calm and not too deep, so you can easily see crabs and sea snails. There’s also a cafe, bar and toilets.
Thanet beaches including St Mildred’s Bay, located at Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate offer a creative vibe that never gets old.
