Meopham Valley Vineyard was established in 1991, and during their tenure they set the foundations by planting seven grape varieties, conducting vineyard tours and creating a range of quality still and sparkling wines.
Their wines of have won the respect of wine experts all over the world, winning prestigious awards in local, national and international wine competitions.
Location
The vineyard is set on a beautiful east-facing slope, with the picturesque Happy Valley as a backdrop. The vineyard spans 25 acres and is set in the picturesque village of Meopham in Kent, England.
Located at a height of 100 metres above sea level, our vines are planted at a density of 1672 vines per acre, giving them the perfect terroir in order to capture the sun’s rays.
Meopham Valley Vineyard is open for visitors 7 days a week, from 11:00am to 17:00pm. They conduct tours of the vineyard seasonally, so be sure to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to taste their collection.
When visiting Meopham Valley Vineyard, you’ll see that they grow nine varieties of grape. These include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Madeleine Angevine, Leon Millot, and Reichensteiner.
It’s a great day for a drive to the vineyard, and it’s super easy to get to, as it’s close to the A2, M25, Bluewater Shopping Centre and Ebbsfleet International Station.
